Spiritual Shots™ is a forum for people to explore their questions about Christianity in a relaxed environment. The atmosphere is casual, not confrontational. No name tags, no prayer, no church "insider" language. You don't have to have any knowledge of the Bible. Spiritual Shots™ is designed to offer honest answers to your tough questions about Christianity.
Shots meets the second Tuesday of every month (September through May) in the upstairs bar at Bottoms Up Pizza in Shockoe Bottom (corner of Dock and 17th Streets) from 6:00-7:30 pm. The format is simple: live music and free appetizers, followed by a brief presentation of the evening's topic by a facilitator, then thirty minutes of Q&A with the facilitator.
Each Shots series addresses issues facing the post-modern world and offers a discussion of how and whether Christianity is relevant to those issues. Past topics are listed below. Click on the topic to hear or download an audio clip of the facilitator's presentation. To protect the privacy of those who attend, we do not record the Q&A portion.
